Based in Seoul and led by Daniel Song and Kate Cho, INTG. approaches architecture as a living framework shaped by the ways people inhabit space over time. Each project begins with close observation of everyday rituals, social behaviors, and the subtle tensions that define contemporary life.
INTG’s design thinking is spiritually rooted in the Korean aesthetic concept of Bul-i-yu-hwa—the idea that difference does not require opposition, and harmony does not demand sameness. Rather than translating this principle literally, the studio allows it to surface through spatial decisions that hold contrast in balance and let meaning emerge gradually.
Research, spatial planning, and narrative are treated as an indivisible process. Sociocultural context, emerging lifestyles, and economic realities are woven into environments that remain open, adaptable, and deeply attuned to their users.
INTG’s work seeks neither spectacle nor neutrality. Instead, it cultivates spaces where past and present, intuition and structure, calm and intensity coexist in quiet equilibrium, architecture that invites it to unfold over time.
